Another day another adventure. Today’s feat was to hike up Table mountain and cable car it back down. I made a long hilly walk from my hostel up to Table Mountain which was about a 45min walk. Once I got there, I went to Platteklip Gorge which is the starting point. This is where I began my hike up.
The path is very rocky and steep. Actually gets steeper the higher I went as well as colder. The hike to the top took about 90mins. The average person does it between 2-2.5hrs as this trek is just over 2.1km. After completion, I walked around area near the cable car area for a few minutes before my descent via cable car.
I had now completed this feat. I did not even know until a couple days ago there was even a hiking trail for this but I can now add another accomplishment to my belt and my 1st “New 7 Wonders of Nature”.
