After a long flight ride to Manila then a short flight to the Philippines 2nd largest city, I finally made it to Davao City. Upon my ride to my Airbnb, the taxi driver told me about how safe Davao was as well as how you can complain about bad service of a taxi driver. He also explained how taxi drivers here are not bad versus their counterparts in Manila.
This day was about getting used to the surroundings in my area as well as visiting People’s Park. As the day was Father’s Day, there were many families enjoying their time there. The park in itself is not that large in size but does provide people an area to just hangout.
My last task of the evening was to stroll aroundthe Roxas Night Market. Once complete I headed to a restaurant across the street called Lyndon’s World’s Worst Ribs and Awful Chicken. Well I had to order the ribs per the advice of the hostess and they were pretty dang good until I saw a mural of Lebron James. But wait, so Lebron is teaming up with Lyndon’s?
