Pattaya Beach Mission

One of my last cities to visit on this trip is Pattaya Beach. This Thai city has been devastated economically due to the Covid-19 virus since it heavily relies on Chinese tourists. This city offers affordable fun where the saying here is “No Money No Honey”. Let that sink in for a second.

I was in this city to take a couple of tours, get a dental whitening procedure done, and to purchase a couple of custom made sports coats from Zara’s. So heading to a beachtown was a shift change. I have been to several Thai cities at this point but I needed a fun city to go at my own leisurely pace. As I walked around the city streets that harbor the night markets to the nightclubs to the adult establishments, I could not tell there was a slowdown in business due to the number of tourists and open business. Well at least until I got to Walking Street and it was not that crowded compare to YouTube videos I saw of it in 2019.

On my 2nd day, I bought a ticket on Klook to see a magic show at Tuxedo Illusion Hall. Well it turned out I was the only one who bought a ticket for the show at the 7pm time slot so I got to sit up front. The show last for 30 continuous minutes of live action. To be honest they performed as if they had a packed house. By the end of the show I was above impressed and in my opinion it was the best magic show I have ever seen and I recommend as a must-do on any trip to Pattaya, Thailand.
