Yesterday started with my tour guide and her driver picking me up from my AirBnb to venture just outside of the city limits to Edens Adventure Park. This entity included a mountain hiking trail trek, cottages, zip line activities, horseback riding, and other amenities. The place amazed me due to its size and the number of different animals included on the property. I enjoyed it the most due to the hiking trail within the park which was challenging and scenic.
This was the highlight of yesterday’s tour which did include a visit to Eden’s Garden and Jack’s Ridge which yields a view of the entire city at night to close the day out.
Today started with a 4:30am pick up time for me. The tour was to venture outside of the city completely to visit Mati and see the Sleeping Dinosaur Mountain and to make a few other stops.
The mountain took an off terrain drive to get to the base. This was then proceeded with a hiking trek to the top of Sleeping Dinosaur where I could see the different shades of blue in the ocean. This trail is not for the weak hearted but takes some energy in getting to the peak.
So far I have found Flipinos to be very welcoming and overly helpful.
