Well a trip to Cali would not be complete without a zoo visit so I took a journey over to the Cali Zoo. The expectations going into this excursion was low since I have been to many zoos, safaris, and other animal exhibits during my travels. The zoo is very large as about half of it is built over the Cali River.
This zoo contains animals from snakes to fish to flamingos. It is well spaced out and has easy to navigate floor paths to guide you on to the next exhibit. The museum itself exceeded my expectations due to its size and variety of landscapes. Also the adult tickets are 24K Colombian pesos which is about $7 USD at the time I am writing this blog post. This attraction is perfect to spend a solid 1-2 hours of your time.
