The Hotel Zone area in Cancun offers a variety of entertainment and for me it was time for a night event. I chose to see a show at Coco Bongo, this was an establishment I wanted to go to previously when in Playa Del Carmen almost 10 yrs ago but now I had my chance. I decided this was the night to go see it after one of my sailboat colleagues from earlier in the date high recommended it.
There are two ticket levels in which you can purchase: General Admission and the VIP Level ticket where prices start at $75 USD. Coco Bongo’s building was less than a 10 minute walk from my Airbnb and a can’t miss must-try entertainment show, not because of the attraction but since they have a dozen or so salespeople hawking the street selling tickets for each night’s show. The facility itself is like a small concert arena which includes several bar areas. I am not going to get too detailed in the show itself since I high enjoyed it but I will say it include acrobatics alongside music with a nightclub feel to the whole thing.
